Today

Well, today is the day that my class and I go to six flags. Although I have never been there before, I'm sure my friends will help me out with finding the rides and bathrooms. I am really excited yet nervous all at the same time. My dad says that it is just like any other amusment park just bigger. That didn't make me feel to much better and on top of that it is raining. I really hope it stops or else today might not be so much fun.

Memories never forgotton

When I look back at my life through the years of school, I always remembered the great times I had. I've always wanted to make a scrapbook of my memories through life but as time progressed I never got around to it. It may seem wierd or strange that I would waste my time doing that but, this is the time we will remember the most. We won't remember being thirty-something and sitting in a cramped cubicle, we won't remember turning fifty, but what we will remember is our best friends ten year old birthday party. Playing pin the tail on the donkey and caught up in all those video games. So here is a little piece of my happyness from kindergarden to where I am now; almost graduating.

Kindergarden: I had the best teacher ever, Mrs. Zelmer. She always made my class laugh and she took us on the best field trips ever! Well, for a kindergardener anyway...the park. We could slide, run, laugh and be the silly little kids that we were. Carefree and happy.
First Grade: Mrs. Baer, she was a great teacher but, I don't think she liked kids that much. I was a good student but, apperently I fooled around too much. There was a line I had crossed one to many times.
Second Grade: Mrs. Timmerman, she was also a cool teacher. She got the whole class a rain-stick to play with and from the minute it came in the classroom sobody was always playing with it.
Thrid Grade: Mrs. Graf, she was nice. We played alot of games in her class and won prizes all the time. The prizes were always books though.
Fourth Grade: Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Kannonburg were the coolest teachers of our time. Every Friday was a "fun friday". We played games and ate candy every friday it was great! But, we recieved terrible news half way through the year. My all time, to this day favorite teacher Mrs. Kannonburg had been diagonsed with cancer. We made cards every day for two weeks for her. Hoping and praying that she would get better. Unfortunately she passed away after a month of having cancer and after that Fun Fridays weren't so much fun anymore without her. There was always something missing no matter how hard Mrs. Jenkins tried.
Fifth Grade: Mr. DeNoyer. He knew we were still sad from the loss of Mrs. Kannonburg so he also tried really hard to make the first few weeks lots of fun. He told really bad jokes constantly and took my class to the Cave of the Mounds or as he called it Cave of the Hounds. That was one of his many terrible jokes. He made us laugh even though his jokes stunk anyway.
Sixth Grade: Mr. Martens, he always talked with his eyes closed and when we laughed he always got confused.
Seventh Grade: New school, new people, big school, tall people. Pewaukee School, is way different then my old school. In my grade at Pewaukee there is almost 200, in my old school the entire school only had 200. And now I have a locker!? I have never had a locker before, it is kind of wierd. But, my classes are fun and cool along with my teachers.
Eighth Grade: The end of middle school is near and I am so excited. The end of the year trip is to six flags and I have never been there before. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. Wish me luck!!!

R.I.P

You look so peaceful lying there
With your hands folded upon your chest.
You look like you are sleeping
But you are at eternal rest.

For now I am without you.
When someone passes on
It does not mean they are gone,
Though they are no longer with us
Their memory still lives on.
It hurts so much to lose a friend -
Especially one that is trustworthy and kind.
You were that friend,
A rare and special find.
You will always be with me
In spirit and in mind.
Forever until the end of time.
I will not say "Good-bye".
This is not the end.
So I will just say, "So long..."
Until we meet again.

So Long For Now,
Dear friend of mine
Now your heart is gone but,
Your soul shall live on.

School

I am so glad that it is almost the end of the year! There is about 8.5 more days of school and I could not be more excited. Well, actually I would be if there weren't so many dang tests! Anyway, in 8.5 days it will be the best day of almost every kids' life... SUMMER VACATION!!!!! I'm sure the teachers enjoy it summer-break too, but not nearly as much as I do! Summertime is a what every child lives for, starting the day that they no longer have homework their minds take of for vacation to where ever our brains go to when we don't need them really. I honestly can say that I feel for all of you out there that have to be in summer-school 'cause you are missing out on something really great. Not that I am bragging about not being in summer school or anything but, I just feel so bad for those of you that have to miss like all of your summer, it just kills me. Anyway though, I have a whole list of what I am going to do this summer. Starting with cleaning out my closet... thank you mom. ENJOY YOUR SUMMER EVERYBODY!!!!

3 girls, 1 inner-tube

Okay, so yesterday my freind, her little sister and I were swimming in the lake. After awhile we got bored and got on this tiny inner tube and began to go out by the buoys. When we got there we just sat for awile, and the next thing I knew we were almost in the middle of the lake. We tried to get back to shore but, the wind and waves were pushing us away. It was really freaky! We tried to enjoy ourselves while we were out there but, it was cold and we had lost interest in pushing eachother off the tube. There were boats everywhere, I began to wonder what we would do if a boat came speeding along and didn't see us? We would be dead meat. I looked around, my friends house was about two miles from where we were right now. I began to get really freaked out, my friends mom was standing on shore yelling to us. We tried to swim back again, it was no use though we had used up all our energy swimming all afternoon. In one last attempt we swam hard and long and after awhile we were passing the buoy again. We were going to make it! I kept swimming and soon we were back on shore. After a long, exciting day I went home and rested.

Stop, Drop and HOLY FIRE-TRUCKS!!!!!!!

You have all probably seen this on the news already but, what the hay...

Tuesday 7:36 pm: Fire! This really pretty brick house with an indoor pool, amazing landscaping and a concrete driveway just exploded! There are firetrucks from every tribe and nation here, I swear! It is near 9:50 at night now and the police and fire men have just gotten this fire under control. Due to a slight gas leak to the grill the entire house just quite frankly as my brother puts it "Goes BOOM!!!" I am in utter shock as me and another girl stand there and watch the fire/ firetrucks keep coming. Wales Genesse, Delafield, Waukesha, Pewaukee, Hartford, Muskego, and some others are all here trying to put this fire out. And on top of that there is no water in the area so they are having big tankers bring water in from other cities.
It was exciting but, it is 10:30 and there is no more excitment. Time to pack it up and take 'er home.

Kaitlyn S. Thank You

Wow, Wow, and double wow. Thank you Kaitlyn for that wonderful time wasting kareoke session.

Okay, this chick is nuts! She went up in front the whole eighth grade and sang like six songs because one of teh speakers for Career Week was late. This girl's got guts and I was laughing so hard. It's not like a mocking laugh but, more of a OMG-I-can't-believe-she-just-went-up-there-and-had-the-guts-to-do-that-OMG!-kind of laugh. I would die and go to Heaven if anyone asked me to do what she did. For pete's sake, I can't even go up in front of my class of 20 to give a speech! She is altimatly like a good crazy girl that will do everything and anything to prove a point or to make people smile.
So, if you are ever down and need a laugh go to Youtube and type in Kaitlyn Scott at school. It isn't bad or anything it just makes you want to bust a gut and give her a pat on the back. I love this chick, she has more courage in her then a pack of lions do.

Career Week

The past two days have been so much fun and I am kind of upset that we have to be back in school.
Day 1:My group toured UWM and WCTC. Personally I liked UWM better because it seemed to me that there was much more to offer there and WCTC; I thought that the only really cool thing there was the blue retention pond. Sorry, if anyone from that school reads this but, that was just my opinion. UWM will definately be my choice for college.
Day 2: Wow! today was like the best day for this week! We went and toured so many different business's that it isn't even funny. First, my group went Duchow's Boat Center and that was okay, there were alot of really big boats there but, I'm a middle schooler I don't really care to know how to clean a boat right now. Then, we went to the Pewaukee Vetenarian Center aka Animal Hospital and there were soooo many really cute animals there. I learned alot about the animals and people who work there. From the Vet, we went to a golf course over by Country Springs. In a way that place was so incredibly boring that the only upside I could see was my hopes of driving a golf cart. *Haha. But, I am kind of thinking that for a summer job, how easy would it be to drive around and pick up golf balls for a living? That would be so easy! After that they sent me to Juvenial Prison... Nah, just kinding. My brother might like that though. We did go to a Juvenial Court though. That place seems scary, the whole time I was there no of the tour guides smiled. At first I wanted to work there but, after awhile I didn't want to work there anymore because I figured that if I worked there then I would be in a constant state of depression because if no-one smiled why would I. From there we had lunch and you probably don't want to here about that so fast foward to when we came back to school. At school a chef, police officer, and the dude that figures out the Buck's players' salary all talked to us about there jobs. It was a cool and fun couple of days but, it's time to come back to school agian and face the classrooms.
